What is Microfiber?
Microfiber is an ultra fine, polyester and polyamide - nylon fiber that is split and either woven or knitted into fabric. Microfibers are one third the diameter of cotton fibers and one quarter the diameter of fine wool fibers. The structural properties of microfiber cloth make it a superior cleaning and polishing material.

Microfiber is available in several different constructions such as warp knit (terry), circular knit (terry), woven suede and woven waffle etc., each providing different features and benefits. The quality and performance of the fabric is determined by both the type of fiber and the construction method. (see below the types of microfiber cloths that we offer)

What is the difference between 80% polyester / 20% polyamide and 70% polyester / 30% polyamide combinations in the cloth.  Simple answer is...the more polyamide the better cleaning ability and softness.

What is GSM? Grams per Square Meter is a unit of density of the cloth. typically the higher the number, the better the quality.
